Golf Club Arona
Golf Club Arona is of particular interest to enthusiasts due to its characteristics: 9 holes designed to obtain a decent compromise between a technical and informal course!
Golf Club Arona has been operating and quickly and significantly expanding since 2003. A newer facility, today it counts over 400 members between the practice green and 9–hole course.
Established in 1999 as a large, well-equipped practice green, Golf Club Arona made its 3-hole par 3 executive course in 2000. It quickly added 3 more holes to this undulating course with water hazards. In 2002, Golf Club Arona spread its wings towards a new dimension by completing the interesting 9-hole course, which was approved by the Italian Golf Federation in November of the same year.
The holes have water hazards in the form of a few canals, which occasionally surround the greens, thus making them a peninsula. Many plants were planted along the doglegs. Greens are large, and undulate just enough to make their interpretation interesting.
The facility’s success is also due to its management: members can sign up for one of the many types of memberships available, without membership fees.
Golf Club Arona is now open year-round to golfers at all levels. It has a club house with many facilities: a pro shop, changing rooms, spacious patio and lounge and ample parking, and nearby hotels and restaurants offer members discounts.
